Plus, meet two courageous women who have overcome heart disease. Carolyn O'Donnell of Wellesley, MA says, "I was doing all the right things and still had a heart attack." Knowing your blood pressure and cholesterol levels are key to heart health. "I didn't think I was at risk because I have no history," says Diane Samiglietti of Peabody, MA, who suffered a heart attack at age 39. "I didn't know the symptoms," she says. "More women die than men," says Dr. Paula Johnson, cardiologist and Chief of Woman's Health at Brigham and Woman's Hospital in Boston, MA. "It's really important to get the word out," she says.
