Do you wonder what a crying baby is trying to tell you? When your baby or toddler is cranky, finding out what's wrong can be a real challenge. So try to put yourself in your kids shoes. It may not be that he doesn't want his shoes, he may just want to try doing something himself. Or even if he can't dress himself entirely or tie his own laces, let him give it a try. Do the same thing at mealtime. If your toddler gets fussy when you feed him, hand him the spoon. There maybe more mess to clean up when it's over, but you'll certainly have a happier baby. If you have a hectic day with your little one, plan ahead to avoid those inevitable tantrums. Schedule errands around nap times and also always carry healthy snacks. If you're tired and hungry, chances are so is your child. A baby may be fussy for a number of reasons, so plan for all of them. Then your little one has an upset tummy in the middle of the night, you'll be glad you thought ahead. Things that relax you at the end of a long day can also do the same for your baby. A calming massage, soothing music or just some quiet alone time works wonders. And it'll keep your little one, happy.
