Every day pain is a fact of life for many women. But while a visit to a spa could be very beneficial, your best return on investment will come from regular physical activity. Exercise releases endorphins which are natural pain relievers. Regular exercise can also help you maintain a healthy weight and improve your mood. Stretching can tone your muscles and help prevent injuries. Consider yoga to help relieve some of the stress that might be causing headaches. Be creative with your exercise. You don't have to belong to a gym to improve your mood or increase your fitness level. Get outside, get some air into the lungs and get your blood pumping. Over-the-counter pain relieving drugs and anti-inflammatories can make exercising and your life more comfortable. As always your doctor can help determine which medications and exercises are best for you. But don't let little aches and pains get you down. Increase your physical activity level and you'll be surprised how quickly those aches and pains begin to disappear.
