Kids Ask Dr. Lisa: What Causes Bad Breath?
Aired on Lifetime Television Sunday, April 8 and May 20, 2007 Show 408
Michaela Powell:
Everybody knows that brushing your teeth can help avoid bad breath. But what some people don't know is, is that brushing your tongue can help too.
Dr. Lisa Thornton:
She is right; you really do have to brush your tongue. Now we've all heard it before, we know you're supposed to brush your teeth twice a day, floss once a day, but really the place where bad breath sticks around is on your tongue. Brush your teeth twice a day, floss once a day and brush your tongue every time, the key is really to keep your mouth clean.
