Aired on Lifetime TelevisionSunday, April 29 and June 10, 2007Show 411
Alexander Tsiaras and his company Anatomical Travelogue are well known for their groundbreaking images of the human body; in fact Tsiaras has even been called a modern day Leondardo da Vinci, creating images of the inside of the body that resemble amazing works of art. "If you love art, there's art in the body. If you love science, there's science in the body. And if you love storytelling, there's storytelling in every person's body," says Tsiaras. His medical imaging processes use MRI's, CT Scans and ultrasounds. "We take existing scans and we figure out how much more data is there already in there about the patient that we're just not picking out," says Tsiaras. Then, mathematical models take the static data and put it in motion as if it were moving in real time. This breakthrough imaging process will forever change how people think about health and their bodies.
