Meet Gary Ryan Blair, the Goals Guy. He says the most important part of setting and achieving your goals, is focusing on the solution rather than the pain. "One of the worst things you can do is say I want to lose 10 lbs. or I want to get out of debt," Gary says. Each goal needs to be stated in specific measurable and time-bound language, he says. Other steps include identifying the why's and how's behind your goals to help you achieve them. "If you make a commitment, you honor it. If you make a promise, you keep it. If you set a goal, you achieve it," says Blair.
