It's a beautiful warm day, the sun is bearing down and you're in a great mood. And you decide to do yourself a favor. Go outside and get some physical activity. That's a great idea, but do yourself another favor, don't forget to protect your skin.
There's no avoiding a good workout, and induced sweat, but you can avoid sweating off that sunscreen by using one that's waterproof and sweat proof. But for the best results, reapplying any type of sunscreen is always a good idea. And just because it's covered up, doesn't mean the sun can't reach it. UV rays can still penetrate clothes, so apply sunscreen to all parts of your body or wear loose fitting clothes that are tightly woven.
And if you can, try to avoid direct sunlight by working out in the shade. And the sure fire way to stay protected from the sun is to wait until sunset to take that brisk walk with your friends. And don't forget besides protecting your skin, you also want to protect your eyes. A good pair of sunglasses should be considered mandatory anytime you're outdoors.
