When Albert Einstein posed his theory of relativity, he said he discovered it by imagining himself riding on a ray of light. He once said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge." Imaginative children grow into imaginative adults. Perhaps even visionaries, people with unique minds who are able to solve the world's problems. So encouraging a child's imagination is a good thing. Here's an idea I love to get your child's imagination going. Gather up a bunch of items like costumes or dress up clothes or hats. And give them to your childrenalong with a box. That's right, a big plain old box, and tell them to have fun. Behold the box. There are few things as powerful as the human mind, but our imaginations can turn something like this simple cardboard box into something extraordinary. Artist Pablo Picasso said, "Everything you can imagine is real." Certainly the kids think so. Just give them acardboard box and see where their imagination takes them.
