Do supportive resources exist for the 12 million Americans who are care givers? Not surprisingly, there are many choices available. Two siblings were lucky enough to find the perfect organization for themselves and their father who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. One sister, Nicole says, "Leeza Gibbon's Memory Foundation empowered us and brought us back together." Later, Dr. Lisa sits in with Leeza Gibbons for a moving conversation about Leeza's grandmother's and mother's Alzheimer's struggle and how this gave birth to Leeza's Memory Foundation. In this Health Corner, we learn about targeted chemotherapy being administered with astounding success at MD Anderson in Texas. Then, Alex Boylan meets Chef Patrick O'Connell at The Inn in Little Washington, Virginia where Patrick throws together an Asian-spiced chicken salad with peanuts. Jill Repp counsels parents on using alternative discipline as positive reinforcement. Plus, Florida Perry Smith reminds us that the fountain of youth springs from good friendships.
