"Tell us about the latest research you're doing," says Dr. Lisa.
"We're looking at C-reactive protein or CRP which plays a role in inflammation. This protein is a factor in heart disease, asthma, diabetes, and hardening of the arteries. When you eliminate obesity, high blood pressure and inactivity, this protein is lowered, which means an increase in activity lowers C-reactive protein. Lipotein can also lower this protein, but a vitamin combination does just as good a job and is cheaper. In other words, vitamins can reduce heart disease," says Dr. Cooper.
"This C-reactive protein can be measured with a simple blood test. CRP is not a bad protein, it's just a marker of inflammation," says Dr. Lisa. "And inflammation can be reduced with vitamins. Until recently, supplements had yet to be accepted in the scientific field. Our goal is to keep you healthy for a long, long time," says Dr. Cooper.
