Is it really possible to maintain a diet? "Yes, the search for a diet is like the search for a life-long partner. You need to find one you can stick with," says Dr. Michael L. Dansinger of Tufts New England Medical Center and the principle investigator of the largest diet study ever undertaken.

Later, Dr. Lisa learns from Dr. Fran Kaufman, physician and author of Diabesity, how to prevent and treat obesity and diabetes by finding balance.

In this Health Corner, we discover the restorative power of the brain. "If the visual part of the brain is damaged, visual restoration therapy, VRT, can stimulate alternative regions to regain sight," says Dr. Randolph S. Marshall of Columbia University Medical Center.

Then, Alex Boylan visits Chef Matthew Lyman who prepares halibut with fennel and arugula at One Pico in Santa Monica's Shutters on the Beach. Jill Repp notes the importance of creating memories by turning family events into family traditions. Plus, Florida Perry Smith on preventing injury by wearing sport specific shoes.
