Robert is a care giver for his 88-year-old mother, and he loves to make time to preserve and share her precious memories. "I've been showing some pictures to my mother lately and she's been looking at them and she really remembers a lot of things back, some things that I don't remember. And it's nice for her to think about these things," says Robert. Scrapbooking not only helps his mother's memory, it also brings joy and much needed relaxation to both of them. "It makes me have a happy feeling, looking back at different pictures that bring back memories you know and with everybody in the family. And just makes you feel less stressed." Dr. Jamie Huysman says, "It works on so many different levels. I mean we see these beautiful scrapbooks that are made, or the end products, but they don't really tell the whole tale. Because before that end product, you see families come together around a table and sharing stories and talking about times and things that occurred."
