When you exercise, does it sometimes feel like you're just doing the same thing over and over again? When your exercise routine becomes, well, routine, the best thing to do is spice it up. If you're strictly a gym person then add an outdoor activity. Even a walk or bike around the neighborhood can get your heart racing and move you forward. If weight lifting is getting blah… then try using different machines or doing different exercises for the same muscle groups. And if you're more of a solitary exerciser, try grabbing a partner for a once a week activity, whether it's running, racket sports even dancing. Even if you return to your same old same old in a week or two, it will feel fresh and you'll have renewed energy. After all variety is the spice of exercise. Here's to your health!
