Schedule It: Exercise

You have a busy day with work, school, friends, errands – what often is forgotten? Riiiight… exercise! Somehow that always gets lost in the shuffle, doesn't it? Exercise is incredibly important for your health. It gives you a better body, and even a better mind. Make it a regular part of your day, at least 3 or 4 days a week. Make it an appointment, like a work meeting, like your morning coffee or brushing your teeth. Vary it up and make it a fun part of your day! Some light weights, a brisk walk, biking, hiking, even just 15 minutes of ab work while watching TV. You can even sneak it into your day by taking the stairs instead of the elevator, or biking to work. Even housework and yard work -- it all counts! How about using a little peer pressure for good this time? Have friends exercise with you at your scheduled time, or hire a personal trainer. They'll make sure you make time! You don't have to slog through something unpleasant. Enjoy your exercise and the benefits it'll bring to your body. Make the time and you'll be looking fine!
