Exercise: No Energy?
Aired on Lifetime TelevisionOctober 26 and December 7, 2008Show 523
Sometimes the energy just isn't there for daily exercise. You may not be sleeping well, it may be a stressful time in your life. I can relate. So here's some ways to try and find the energy to exercise. Start slowly. The goal is to get some sort of routine going no matter how small. A 10 minute walk around the neighborhood is better than a full bore gym workout that you never do. Conserve energy. Scale back on the days you feel low on energy and pump it up on the days you feel strong. Schedule your workouts for the time you most need them. Figure out when you most need to recharge your batteries during the day and make it a habit to work out then. Use your workout as a release from stress frustration or anger. This is one way you can tap into some powerful energy and turn negative energy into positive. Here's to your health!
