"Until I found a support group, I was lost. I feel better knowing I am not alone in this. I had to accept how things are and just let go," says the husband and care giver of Julie Turkoske, who has Alzheimer's disease. Julie's daughter Sally says, "Support groups have been very beneficial and educational for us. We needed to know this was happening to others as well. Being able to share our feelings was exceptional." "Support groups are the pathway to the rest of life," says Dr. Jamie. Leeza suggests, "A helpful way to find a support group is by looking at non-profits."
