Sylvia Bernstein's husband Sid, who is 83, was injured in a minor car accident and then suffered several strokes. As his care giver, Sylvia says, "It's essential for any one in our age bracket to have a living will. You should make these kinds of decisions for yourself." "We need to feel connected to our power," says Dr. Jamie. "If you do this on your own, choose a power of attorney or have a living will, it saves others stress," Dr. Jamie adds. "It's an important step, the gift to others you leave behind," says Leeza.
