Family members provide 80 percent of long term care giving. Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter knows how challenging care giving can be-all of her life she has been caring for family and loved ones who have needed help. Today, she is a passionate advocate of the Caregiver Initiative sponsored by Johnson and Johnson Consumer Products Company. "We offer information and physical and spiritual support," says Nancy Lewin director of the Caregiver Initiative. Gail Gibson Hunt, President and CEO of the National Alliance for Caregiving notes, "We will all need care giving." The number of those turning 65 will double by 2030.
