Aired on Lifetime Television

Sisters Rebecca and Nancy both want what's best for their aging parents, but they disagree on what that is. Their parents have been married for more than 65 years. Dad has Alzheimer's disease and lives in an assisted living facility. Mom lives upstairs in the same facility, but she needs more care. Dad says he's lonely and wants to be with his wife, but she prefers being alone. Rebecca thinks they're fine on their own. But Nancy thinks they should be together. "Parents want peace and serenity without children fighting," says Dr. Jamie. "It's tough when important decisions are necessary. Sometimes you need to pull in a mediator," he suggests.
