Still can't pour yourself into your thin jeans? If you're resolving to lose weight again this year, you should know that in the last 25 years, weight resolutions have been at the top of most people's lists. If losing weight is so popular, why isn't everyone healthy and thin? Many people report five or more years of consecutive pledges before actually achieving their goal. Maybe the best way to get a new you for a new year is to resolve to do something a little more attainable-like eating healthy. This is different from the typical lose 20 pounds resolution. Order the petite cut instead of the queen. And guard against the bone thief. One out of every two women over 50 will have an osteoporosis related fracture in their lifetime. You can keep your bones strong by getting three servings of dairy a day. And don't forget to reward yourself! Go shopping or get a pedicure. Won't it be nice to actually reach your New Year's aims this year? And think, all of that water and dairy will actually help you eat more responsibly. Now, you are on the road to fitting into your thin jeans and having that certain something.
