Care Givers
Aired on Lifetime Television

Show 325
After Mardi Charnitz's father passed away, her grief came in waves. "It was always the most difficult when I didn't expect it," she says. "I realized I had to start letting go." Dr. Jamie reminds care givers who have lost a loved one, "Emotion needs to come out as tears. You must do mind-body-soul work so you don't fall to pieces. Grief and depression are closely related. Sometimes you may have to seek out help and treatment when grief turns into depression. Isolation is the worst poison for care givers."
