Dr. Arthur Wisot:
Dr. Lisa's Interview

Aired on Lifetime Television
Sunday, April 2 and June 11, 2006
Show 310

Dr. Lisa asks Dr. Arthur Wisot, author of Conceptions and Misconceptions, about the misunderstandings women have about in-vitro fertilization. "The biggest mistake is thinking that more is better: more eggs, more drugs. We now have very good success using only one embryo," says Dr. Wisot. "What is the most difficult aspect of IVF?" asks Dr. Lisa. "Following instructions. Every detail is important. It's a complex set of techniques," Dr. Wisot answers. "And what happens when IVF is exhausted and no longer feasible?" Dr. Lisa would like to know. "There are many other options out there for having children," Dr. Wisot assures her.
