Aired on Lifetime Television Sunday, March 26 and May 14, 2006 Show 309
It's hard for a lot of people to understand that you could be overweight and healthy. Your habits, specifically being physically active and eating a healthy diet, are far more important to your overall health than what your scale reads. Regardless of what you weigh, physical activity has tremendous benefits. In fact, we have shown that individuals who are overweight but physically active, outlive individuals who are normal weight but sedentary. But there are some that are successful at keeping it off, and those people do so through an increase in physical activity. Whether your goal is to lose weight or live healthier, you must incorporate physical activity in your daily routine.
