Imagine a flower curing the pain between your ears or helping your arthritis or calming your skin. Believe it or not, the feverfew plant may do it all. Feverfew works to inhibit the release of two inflammatory substances believed to help start migraines. Now researchers are beginning to study how feverfew may help clear skin irritation. In tests done by Johnson & Johnson, feverfew kicked in some serious anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits in skin care products. We know even the best makeup can't make up for the worst irritated skin. But the trials found feverfew visibly reduced redness in as little as one week. So if you feel like you deserve to rub flowers all over your skin, you can. And it may just give you that certain something.
