Michaela Powell and Alex Smith ask Dr. Lisa:
Dr. Lisa, sometimes after gym when I take off my socks, I kinda notice that my feet smell. What causes that, Dr. Lisa?
Dr. Lisa answers:
Well, it's normal for people to have stinky feet. The smell is caused by bacteria that grow on your feet after they've been stuck inside your shoes all day. When your feet sweat, moisture builds up, the bacteria grows and it makes your feet stink. To keep them from smelling, wash your feet every day with soap to remove bacteria and dead skin cells. Don't put on your socks and shoes until your feet are completely dry. You could even use a deodorant on your feet. And make sure you wear a clean pair of socks every day.
All right, now get back out there and play ball.
