Show 305

"How did you discover you had ADHD?" ask Dr. Lisa. "When my son was diagnosed, the clinical psychologist said things that reminded me of myself," says Jim Ryan, "ADHD is a genetically inherited disease." "Has your life changed since you were diagnosed?" Dr. Lisa asks. "I'm more enthusiastic about work and life. Anyone with ADHD should look into treatment. There is no reason why this should hold anyone back," says Jim. "Do you have any parting thoughts?" asks Dr. Lisa. "If you think you or your child has ADHD, go and get an evaluation. Don't let ego play a role in not taking medication."
